Timothy Giilck

I’m originally from Ontario, but this is my second stint in the North, having worked and lived in the Northwest Territories for nearly three years about 10 years ago. I’ve been in the Yukon for going on three years now. I’ve been a journalist – primarily in newspapers - for more than three decades now, with a passion for outdoor writing and photography as well as politics. Yup, that gives you a hint about my age… that’s why I’m the senior reporter here. I was originally with the Whitehorse Star after arriving in the Yukon, but I decided to take my career in a different direction last year when I moved into broadcasting.
