WHITEHORSE - With rain in the forecast for the next 2 days, the city is closing Robert Service Way and the Millennium Trail once again.
Starting June 5, 2023, one of the main roads into the Wilderness City will once again shut down to ensure the safety of Yukoners.
The city says slope scans began to pick up movement on Sunday around 3 am and there was a small landslide around noon on Sunday, while also picking up increased movement late Sunday afternoon.
A special weather statement from Environment Canada is warning of an increased risk of landslides due to the heavy rain expected today.
