The Yukon Fish and Game Association Executive Director Eric Schroff has announced that he would be running in the Mount Lorne-Southern Lakes riding.

The Yukon Party has announced a new candidate for nomination in the upcoming territorial election.

Eric Schroff, The Yukon Fish and Game Association Executive Director, has announced his intention to run in the Mount Lorne-Southern Lakes riding for the Yukon Party.

Schroff says the Yukon needs a government that is responsive, trustworthy, transparent and action-oriented.

He says he's worked through being self-employed in the private sector and serving non-profit organizations as well as in government positions and he knows what effective and responsive government looks like.

Yukon Party nominations for the Mount Lorne-Southern Lakes riding, which includes Carcross, Tagish, Marsh Lake and Mount Lorne, closes on Saturday, February 20th.
