A 26-year-old woman faces charges including impaired driving causing bodily harm after at least two crashes Friday morning.

A Whitehorse woman faces numerous charges after a hit and run downtown.

Police say a 26-year-old woman driving a Dodge Neon allegedly hit a front-end loader on a road construction site on Alexander Street, then hit a pedestrian when leaving the scene late Friday morning.

A 55-year-old man was taken to Whitehorse Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The woman was arrested a short time later, and now faces impaired driving causing bodily harm, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle charges.

As the investigation continues, police are asking anyone with information to contact RCMP.
