The death of a woman in Ross River has been confirmed by Yukon RCMP as a homicide.
Yukon RCMP is confirming that the death of a Ross River woman was a homicide.
On August 14th and 15th, an autopsy took place in Vancouver on the body of Maryann Ollie, a 59-year-old First Nation woman who died in Ross River on August 1st.
Police say the results of the autopsy confirmed the death to be a homicide.
The Yukon Coroner's Service is working with the RCMP on this investigation.
